I Love How It Brings Out The Color In Your Eyes!

On television in real life there is currently a commercial airing for a new kind of lightbulb. According to the ad, this type of lighting allows one to see the "true" colors of objects. In the commercial a scruffy-looking man in a leather jacket has just been brought into an interrogation room by two seasoned detectives who turn on the overhead light to start interviewing him. As soon as the light comes on one cop stops in surprise, staring at the suspect. "What?" the suspect asks.

"Oh," the cop says, "I was just looking at your shirt. I thought it was a green shirt, but now it looks more like..."

"Seafoam?" the other cop suggests.

"Yeah!" the first cop agrees. "Look how it offsets his jacket." The suspect's face starts to light up with pleasure. "And I really like how it brings out the color in your eyes," the cop adds.

"Thanks!" the suspect exclaims. The ad then goes on to explain how the lightbulb works, and finishes with a shot of the suspect making himself comfortable in the interrogation room and stating, "This room is just gorgeous. None of the other stations look this nice."

Well...in one little snippet of a dream that for some bizarre reason stuck with me, this scruffy suspect was now at my house, sitting on the right side of my couch--it's not like I actually saw him but I KNEW he was there--and the room was brightly lit (it seemed to be natural outside light, not a lightbulb). Remembering the ad, I realized that in the commercial I could never make out the color of the suspect's eyes. I wanted to see for myself if his seafoam shirt really brought out the color in them. So I craned my neck forward to get a very good look at him.

Again, it's like there was nobody there, and like I was looking around for something I couldn't see. Then suddenly I got a glimpse of his eyes and looked right into them, and I believe I saw that they were a very beautiful greenish-blue or teal--the perfect color to be brought out by the light seafoam shirt. I smiled in surprise. For such a scruffy guy, he really did have nice eyes. :)
