3:30 Does Not Exist

I lost 3:30 again yesterday. That's three days in a row. I can't really remember 1:30, but I do remember 2:30. I changed the setting on the small clock from the hour to 27 after, and moved it further away from me, to the top of my tape player instead of on my stereo. Thinking maybe I could fool myself. I thought this little ruse might be enough to shake me awake.

I set all three clocks at 2:30 and fearfully went back to sleep.

I awoke at 3:55, my clock, which is really 3:45. Earlier than the day before, but still too late to tape my show. My clocks? All three were still set correctly. All three were STILL turned on, alarms ready. None had woken me up.

I went back to bed and had a dream that I told Dad I had again lost 3:30. I then went and sat down on a toilet which was sitting in the middle of the living room, exposed to the public. And I got a sudden horrible feeling of dread that I was beginning to learn what had truly happened to 3:30--and that I didn't WANT to know.

And then the alarms went off.

Five, six, I had no problems awakening. Only at 3:30 PM. Again.
