First, Tiny Zebras--Now, Tiny Kitties!

I've finally remembered some!! :D

This dream concerned these TINY, TINY kittens crawling across the living room floor. I can't recall how it started, but the kittens caught my attention and I got up to follow them. They were crawling in front of the window toward the front door, an orange tabby and a gray tabby. They were MINUSCULE. The gray tabby, there was something "wrong" with it like it wasn't fully developed, and it couldn't seem to walk as well as its companion--perhaps its back legs were malformed (perhaps it wore a diaper??)--so I turned my attention to the healthy, orange kitten. (Like the gray kitten wasn't worth my time.) It was maybe a couple of inches long, perhaps not even that big, just this itty-bitty little thing making its way toward the door. I believe I tried to pick it up, or perhaps someone else did, because I was afraid of it biting me; but then that other person, if there was one, was me, and I was holding it between my finger and thumb. It was so cute! And then, even though I'd gotten used to it, it DID bite me; sank its teeth into my finger like little needles. Wasn't INCREDIBLY painful, but it DID hurt. Hm. I have written down "try to tell another what they are?" but I can't recall that. I think perhaps I tried to pull the creature off my hand (I seemed to be in a different place now, perhaps a hallway with white walls, glaring lighting, and a stone floor?) and maybe I was trying to explain to somebody with me what these kittens were, because they didn't seem to believe that real kittens could be so small? Just a thought...

Wait Till You're On The Plane!

This dream was kind of hard to understand. I was at Yahoo!, in some kind of Club or Group along with a lot of other people I knew in passing. It was like a community website or something, which was why I didn't feel too uncomfortable there, the way I usually do on Yahoo! where I don't know or interact with many people. (I belong to scads of Clubs and Groups but never have time to post in them, so when I DO post nobody ever replies to me. >:( ) There was one member there in the dream who was asking for items to read, like on Stories.com. He stated that he couldn't read all the public submissions to the group or whatever as he was a minor (younger than 18 or so), so he would prefer if people would send him links to interesting items to read. Then I was answering a survey (so it was more like Stories.com itself) but I couldn't figure out when I should do it. Somebody seemed to be asking me, "Would you rather answer the survey now, or wait until you are on the plane?" It's like it was still electronic, yet sitting on a table or desk in front of me. (Everything was white, just like the pages at Yahoo!) I had to hurry to catch a flight, so I was sitting here wondering if I should hurry up with the survey and finish it now, or wait until I was on the plane, in which case it might be difficult to fill out. Not an easy decision, but it didn't seem earthshattering, either...

The Evolution Of Daffy Duck

This dream had to do with a Looney Tunes picture. I think I pulled a book down from the shelf where the encyclopedias are and Ma seemed to be with me. It's kind of like I was watching this on TV too. I came across a section about really old Looney Tunes cartoons and it showed a sort of timeline of how the characters' looks changed. I think I remember Porky Pig, but I know for certain that Daffy Duck was in there. It's weird because in the VERY first Daffy Duck cartoon, he was presented as this bigger guy, not black, who spoke with an "American" accent. (It was kind of Southern at first, but then it was supposed to be "American." No idea what that means, just that it was slightly different.) I'm not sure if it was that cartoon or the next few ones, but they were from around 1926 or 1936 (probably the latter). This first picture of him was black and white, of course; he seemed to be standing in a barnyard. Then there was a sort of progression or "evolution" of how his character changed over the years. I think I was showing this to Ma.

Then I looked at some still from one of the cartoons and I can't remember what the subject of it was, but a rabbit had been painted over the top right corner. Just a realistic brown rabbit's head and forequarters blocking the top right quarter of the picture. I learned that this had been painted over the original picture, probably to hide something, like a flaw or another character that they didn't want to show up. I have written down "fixed, hilite above eye." Can't remember that very well, but we(?) fixed something; I think I tried to remove the rabbit from the picture as if it were the original. I can't recall how successful or not I was. Highlight? I know that there was some part of the picture that I tried to modify, by the eye of the rabbit, by rubbing it or cloning it out (I wasn't on the computer, but you know how dreams are). I think I did that successfully, even though I can't be sure what it was; highlights are IN eyes, not ABOVE them. Anyway, I removed some kind of flaw, and stood staring at the picture wondering if the rest could be restored to the original.

And though this was short, at least I finally had it! ^_^
