Bitty Baby Zebras

I had a tiny little dream yesterday while dozing, so I thought I would mention it. In it I was in some kind of building and went into a back room, which made me think of how some big places have the kitchen in the back--those big kitchens for all the preparation of food. I went back in here--brick red tiled floor, possibly gray wainscoting, white cinderblock walls, moderately bright lighting--and near the back wall in the left corner there were some animals. I remember a beaver and a small porcupine with its quills not fully developed yet, or else they were all folded down; it just looked like long fur. There was at least one other animal with them, perhaps gray in color and also smallish, but I don't recall what it was. They were just kind of sitting around on the floor and on a small shelf or seat next to it. I carefully approached them; they were so cute. I didn't want them to attack me, though; porcupines have quills and beavers have sharp teeth!

I bent down toward the beaver, since it seemed most harmless, and slowly reached out to touch its head. It let me pet it; it was so sweet. What a cute little guy.

There may have been a few other people in the room as well somewhere behind me, people around my age (was I a teen again?), who just kind of walked around. I did something, got up and moved away or something, but when I came back the animals were different. There were more of them wandering around, and now there were these two teeny-tiny baby zebras. AAAWWWWW!! When I say teeny-tiny, I MEAN teeny-tiny. They were SMALL. Like little dwarf zebras or something, only about a foot or so tall. (And when I say "so," I mean only by another inch or so!) They just wandered around and I reached down to pet one, then I wanted to pick it up. I can't remember if I did or not, as I didn't want to startle them, but I couldn't resist!!
