Bad Kitty!

Yes, I've had plenty of dreams in the interim, including one about trying on a bra. But I was always too tired to write them down, and thus I forgot them all. Huh!

Last night...

Pepper came into the living room (it was daytime) and squatted in the middle of the rug by the footstool, like she was going to pee there. Right in the living room! With a yell I jumped up, grabbed her (she started protesting, of course) and ran from the room. Her litterbox is in the utility room so that's where I went, and put her in it, pushing her butt down since she has poor aim. (She's blind and deaf.) She didn't seem to know what to do and kept trying to get out or something, so I was yelling at her--I know it's pointless, as she's stone deaf, but I was doing it anyway. I think she may have done whatever she wanted to do, decided she didn't want to go that badly after all, whatever; I went back into the living room (or did Dad come out here?) and he gave me this puzzled look and said, "Why are you yelling at her?"

Tears came to my eyes and I started sniffling. "Be-because I was afraid you'd get mad and threaten to hurt her," I said. (In real life, when he's mad at Pepper, he often threatens to throw her across the room and such--not that he ever DOES this, but he does threaten it, and I don't like it.) I had thought that when he (he was in the living room on the couch with me when Pepper came into the room) saw her squat on the rug, he'd get mad and do something. So I had grabbed her and yelled at her to stop it and go in her box, even though she couldn't hear me.

What was odd was that Dad seemed more surprised by my actions than angry with Pepper's.

Oh yes. I also remember her getting out of the catbox when she was done and there was litter ALL over her butt. ICK!! (Butt and lower back--I consider that part of the butt too.) I don't know HOW she got so much on herself when she didn't seem to have done anything...

Damn It! No Movie?!

In this dream, I was with somebody--perhaps Ma, then Mya, both or just one--and I had seen an ad on TV or something; all I know for certain is that a cartoon had been advertised for latenight on CBS, and I had thought it was going to be Dragon Ball Z, as I think that had been in that timeslot before, but now they were replacing it, and I was peeved. So it's like we were going to watch what was on TV--which now WAS DBZ--or maybe not--agh!--whatever!--but we ended up at a movie theater, standing out on the sidewalk. It was evening but still light out, and nice. I remember looking up at the marquee but I don't remember what it said. It was somehow tied in to the TV program, like the TV program was now showing in a movie theater. In any case, now it was Mya with me, and we went inside together.

I have written down "little girl, wait to give her tissue, doesn't need it." I only vaguely remember that part. Somewhere in here was this little girl, maybe around five or six, cute little thing with long brown hair and big eyes, standing near the door or the wall. (To the left? I have the feeling she was to my left.) Perhaps she had some food on her mouth or something, or she was crying, but I believed she needed some tissues to clean herself up. Why did I wait? I have the feeling there were other people in the way or something and I had to wait for them to pass, but I might be wrong. Whatever it was, by the time I got to her to give her the tissue, she didn't need it anymore, like she'd already cleaned herself off. Cute little kid, and I don't even like kids, so she must have been EXCEPTIONALLY cute.

Food had something to do with this. I feel there was a line to get food like in school, fill up your plate, take what you want. I have the feeling we were busy getting food or getting ready to get it before the movie started.

As for the theater itself, the room we went into, it was sunk down into the ground, on a slope leading down toward the screen. Medium-sized room. Red carpeting, and at first it seemed to be steps, but these were the seating area and when we reached them it made me think of low bleachers. (Low in that I wasn't scared to be on them!) There was still a light on toward the front and the room was cozy and nice looking. Dark walls, probably best for acoustics. People were sitting down already and Mya and I went looking for a seat. (It's kind of like she was both Mya and Ma at the same time. ??)

Anyway, we both sat down, but as soon as I did, the person behind me did something--like pressed their knees against my back--and pushed me WAAAAAYYYY over, forward. I gritted my teeth out of annoyance and pushed myself back (no, they weren't pushing on my SEAT back, as there didn't seem to be seats, just steps). I gave them a dirty look but they gave me one back, as if to say, "What, I was sitting here first, I can stretch my legs if I want."

I did NOT feel like arguing with someone right now, especially not someone apparently this snotty. "Let's move," I muttered to Mya, and we got up and did so, going down closer to the screen. There weren't many seats available as it was filling up--not CROWDED like a stadium, but getting fuller. (It wasn't noisy though--hm, now I'm thinking of the atmosphere in a college course or quiet auditorium.) We seemed to sit down several times and then get up again, each time moving down closer to the screen--until I finally pointed out the "bench" (step) at the bottom and said, "Let's just sit THERE." Mya offered no complaint, thank God. We went down to the very bottom, on the right (we were closer to the right side the whole time), and sat down on the very last step.

There was...FOOD here...I can't quite recall how, but there seemed to be things sitting and lying around all over, and there was food lying at our feet. This was normal. But I wanted to be careful I didn't step in it or something. I even started looking at it to see if any of it was good. There was some sort of animal--a rat or a small dog or some such--lying down here as well, in a weird manner--it wasn't sleeping, just lying--and I think it was covered with food, like a coat of food. Ick! Um...and I have written down "gets mad at me and talks"--what was that, the animal?? All right, perhaps this thing got mad at me and talked or something, but I couldn't understand what was going on.

And we never did get to see any movie. :)
